I adore my Whitmor bakers rack! That it was economical ($75 and free shipping), a piece of cake to create (I achieved it by myself), but it’s surprisingly sturdy. The cutting board top is admittedly pretty. Most of the rods and hanging sections are a bit un-straight, even so it’s no biggie. I’m confused if mine was really a improved version since some have complained that it can be not sturdy (purchased 02/18/10) but you can use little knobs at the base for the steel posts that could be adjusted to forestall wobbling. After i assembled it it absolutely was wobbly and I recently adjusted amongst the knobs and waalaa it’s perfect and intensely sturdy. They fit perfectly at my tiny kitchen and displays my pots perfectly!! Adore it!!!

I aquired this Bakers Rack for the kitchen at home because we didn’t have sufficient cabinet space or counter space–and it solves both! It’s sturdy and was an easy task to set up. I love having it with the food prep and an establishment where I hang pots and display my nice pots for my people to see. The wood is not hard to clean off as well.

i’ve had this approximately 2 years, and will still be standing!
anyway, this isn’t the biggest quality (not professional by any means), the poles are just a little skinny as well as the ‘butcher block’ is wobbly. no, its not me, the wood is slightly warped. it’s really a small wobble and may very well investigated it by plopping a tremendous glass jar with flour the best to continue it in place. also, i put enclosures around the lower two shelves and while they require me to pay more then the machine itself i see them very practical for small kitchens – its like suddenly through an extra kitchen cabinet space that could be protected from dust, etc.
i not used at all the ‘butcher block’ that way or just for chopping but maybe it works fine if yours will not be warped and you make use of it separately along with your kitchen counters. i wouldnt work with it to ‘butcher’ or tenderize anything out of the box, on the machine itself. it doesnt are similar to it will probably take that sort of use…

Easy generate, even regarding (like me) with little to no training putting furniture together. I need to warn you the fact that box it’s shipped was huge and heavy. The most difficult part of putting this item together was actually just having the box open to see the pieces out.
Anyway, this rack is invaluable inside my really small apartment. I use it inside my dining nook and hang up toaster, microwave, and fruit basket for the cutting board shelf. I considered leaving this shelf open but did not in line with the facts that we wasn’t putting this rack directly with the cooking and that shelf is slightly a lesser amount than typical counter height. I store baking dishes and cook books on the reduced 2 shelves. I hang oven mitts quietly in the included hooks. I don’t hang pots/pans since they would have been a hassle so you can get inside and outside when i use a cutting board shelf for appliances. However, if you carry out hang pots/pans, plants be on small side, i.e. a 2quart pot hangs fine, but a 12inch skillet is too big to hold in the neighborhood provided (it happens upon the cutting board shelf). Make the most of the most notable rack for plants.
Overall, it’s an unusually functional and sturdy piece. It is my opinion the amount is extremely good also, when i shopped around on CL, at local stores, and so on Amazon.

Some tips i like on this baker’s rack:
-adjustable feet mean it is stable, irrelevant of the floor. I made entry legs slightly taller than the rear in order that it doesn’t tip forward.
-adjustable shelves. Yourrrre able to position the shelves at any height you would like, at approximately 1 inch intervals. well the same to the hanging rack and top shelf.
-solid wood countertop
-very easy to put together, with clear instructions. You want to start using a mallet to secure the shelves.
-Great size. It doesn’t eat up excessive space, however it holds A lot of stuff.
The thing I don’t love:
-the top shelf that entered mine is extremely slightly warped, so the corner sits greater than the other. I expect it to balance out after awhile though, but it’s not a problem to me. All of those other unit is either perfect condition.
