For instance, on-page 11, the cabinets come from multi-colored wood, very worthwhile, but practically the rest within the room is solid white. On-page 21 there’s a simple modular type kitchen, basically white melamine and some kind of long grain wood, nice clean lines but the one colors are white, tan and stainless steel. On-page 35, the cabinets are 3 different woods having horizontal design, worth it to read, but still appeared as if a kitchen in an increased rise office building.
After the upfront pages, the kitchens improved by incorporating color and interesting textures which did actually lend a warmth in to the kitchens. I liked the whole set of kitchens around the WOOD chapter, after page 70, except the wood panelled one. The LACQUERED section created an abundance of color (except for that few that mainly white. There was clearly one kitchen/dining area this was mainly black (page 183-185), I’m still drooling over it! LOL … mouth droppingly gorgeous. The kitchens that incorporated color were also quite beautiful. The STEEL chapter is an abundance of SS, this means almost all of the kitchens come with an industrial feel. There are several curved cooktop surfaces and fashions in that section. The STONE section designs used so very little stone or were so stark white that your stone didn’t really warm the kitchen. The MIXED MATERIAL chapter included an abundance of components, had unusual custom light fixtures and accessories, and a few of the best and diverse designs. I’ve an established home, but contemporary kitchens is incredibly beautiful with regards to their clean lines and style.
